Last Friday, some of our sports students went to Zurich to visit the Opera House. First, they were allowed to attend a ballet rehearsal and watch the professional dancers at close quarters. Afterwards, they were able to talk to a dancer and ask her questions about her profession and the everyday life of a dancer. This was followed by a tour of the auditorium, stage, dressing rooms, tailoring, costume store and temporary set storage.

Many impressions and experiences were gained, and perhaps one or the other will now be drawn to the theatre more often to see the high performing artists on stage.
