Sustainable Sport Symposium
From 29 September to 1 October 2024, the 2nd Sustainable Sport Symposium took place in Heidelberg, Germany. The Chair of Social and Health Sciences was represented by Nils Jakubzig, who contributed a presentation titled "raus! Experiencing Climate Action together through play. A Qualitative Study Design for the Development of an Educational Program."
The symposium, which brought together international experts from the field of sustainability in sports, offered a valuable platform for discussing education for sustainable development (ESD) in sports and promoting interdisciplinary exchange. The presentation by Nils Jakubzig emphasized the potential of integrating playful activities in informal education and the importance of their development processes.
